As our Senior System Engineer, you will serve as the technical architect and strategic advisor for our infrastructure initiatives. Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of system operations—from design and implementation to optimization and troubleshooting—ensuring that our enterprise environment remains resilient, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity, networking, databases, and application development, to deliver integrated solutions that enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of Nutanix HCI platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability in enterprise environments.
• Provide expert-level administration, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for Linux and Windows Server environments, resolving critical incidents with minimal impact.
• Architect and maintain enterprise-grade system integrations, ensuring seamless interoperability between databases, applications, and infrastructure components.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and reliability, while supporting high-availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT disciplines to deliver end-to-end solutions that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, and configuration changes, ensuring minimal disruption to production environments.
• Evaluate technical designs and provide data-driven recommendations for infrastructure improvements, leveraging industry best practices.
• Establish and enforce technical standards, documentation, and operational procedures to maintain consistency and efficiency.
• Mentor and guide junior and senior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and skill development.
• Participate in incident management and provide expert support for mission-critical production systems during high-pressure situations.

To excel in this role, you will bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience in system engineering, infrastructure operations, or IT administration, with a proven track record in supporting mission-critical environments. Your expertise should include:

• Deep proficiency in Nutanix HCI, with a focus on administration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration, including scripting, automation, and security hardening.
• Strong experience in enterprise system integration, database technologies, and system/database interoperability.
• A robust understanding of virtualization, high availability, backup solutions, and disaster recovery frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of resolving complex technical challenges efficiently.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams.

While not mandatory, certifications such as Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP), Microsoft certifications, or Linux certifications will be highly valued. Additional certifications in virtualization, cloud, or infrastructure technologies will further strengthen your candidacy.
