Join our dynamic team as a **Regional Medical Science Liaison (MSL)** for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nephrology care. In this field-based position, you will serve as the trusted scientific bridge between CSL’s innovative nephrology portfolio and key stakeholders—including leading nephrologists, investigators, healthcare institutions, and medical societies—driving evidence-based advancements that enhance patient outcomes and optimize therapeutic use.

As the primary Medical Affairs interface in the region, you will engage in strategic scientific exchanges, evidence generation, and medical education initiatives while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory standards. This role demands a blend of scientific expertise, strategic insight, and cross-functional collaboration to position CSL as a leader in nephrology innovation across two dynamic markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Scientific Engagement & Stakeholder Leadership
  - Build and nurture high-trust partnerships with nephrologists, KOLs, and scientific leaders to foster collaborative, non-promotional scientific dialogue.
  - Develop and implement tailored engagement strategies for key opinion leaders, emerging experts, and regional stakeholders, ensuring alignment with CSL’s global and local medical priorities.
  - Deliver accurate, compliant, and evidence-based scientific insights while responding to unsolicited medical inquiries with precision and adherence to company policies and local regulations.
  - Act as the scientific advocate for CSL’s nephrology portfolio, including approved therapies and pipeline assets, to drive informed decision-making.
• Medical Strategy & Society Engagement
  - Translate global and regional medical objectives into actionable, locally relevant plans for KSA and UAE, ensuring cohesive execution across the nephrology therapeutic landscape.
  - Engage with leading nephrology societies and professional associations to identify gaps in patient care, advocate for evidence-based practices, and co-develop initiatives that improve disease awareness, diagnostic pathways, and treatment outcomes.
  - Represent Medical Affairs at national, regional, and international nephrology congresses, translating key learnings into strategic recommendations and scientific dissemination.
  - Support launch excellence, lifecycle management, and diagnostic initiatives to ensure CSL’s therapies are positioned optimally in the clinical landscape.
• Medical Education & Insight Generation
  - Design and facilitate scientific meetings, advisory boards, symposia, and peer-to-peer exchanges to address unmet educational needs and foster knowledge exchange.
  - Systematically collect, analyze, and communicate actionable medical insights from healthcare professionals and societies, leveraging approved systems to inform CSL’s strategic direction.
  - Identify emerging trends in patient journeys, treatment barriers, and unmet medical needs, providing data-driven recommendations to internal teams for targeted interventions.
• Evidence Generation & Research Collaboration
  - Proactively identify opportunities for investigator-initiated studies, collaborative research, registries, and real-world evidence generation to strengthen the scientific foundation of CSL’s nephrology portfolio.
  - Support feasibility assessments and execution of local evidence-generation initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory and ethical standards.
  - Facilitate investigator engagement and scientific collaboration, contributing to publication planning and dissemination strategies to amplify CSL’s impact in the field.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance
  - Partner seamlessly with Medical Managers, Market Access, Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, HEOR, and Patient Advocacy teams to integrate scientific insights into broader business strategies while upholding Medical Affairs independence.
  - Provide field-based expertise to inform strategic decisions, ensuring all activities adhere to company policies, local regulations, ethical standards, data-privacy requirements, and pharmacovigilance protocols.

This role is **80% field-based**, requiring extensive travel across KSA and UAE, with occasional regional or international assignments. Your ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment—balancing scientific rigor with strategic agility—will be instrumental in advancing CSL’s mission to transform nephrology care in the region.
