About the Role

Botanica Red Sea is expanding its financial infrastructure by establishing a robust SAP costing environment across seven departments and nine cost centers. In this strategic position, you will lead the end-to-end costing function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, profitability analysis, and seamless integration of financial controls. Your responsibilities will span critical areas such as monthly cost allocations, overhead management, and intercompany transactions, while driving automation and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

As the SAP Controlling (CO) module lead, you will play a central role in implementing financial systems, refining reporting processes, and fostering alignment between Botanica Finance and Group RSG Finance. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining financial integrity, supporting revenue recognition, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Own the month-end costing close in SAP, including cost allocations, activity price runs, overhead cycles, and internal order settlements to ensure financial accuracy and reliability.
• Oversee the allocation of Cost Center costs (labor, depreciation, overhead) to Orders and revenue streams, maintaining precise financial tracking at both operational and contractual levels.
• Manage Production and Trading costing, including Finished Goods valuation, production variance analysis, and Trading COGS for Plant Trading, ensuring cost transparency and profitability insights.
• Maintain contract-level profitability tracking for Landscape Maintenance and ensure intercompany transactions adhere to agreed transfer pricing models.
• Prepare and present Gross Profit and Profitability-by-Revenue-Stream reporting, aligning financial performance with budgetary targets and supporting key management KPIs.
• Strengthen cost allocation controls, including independent review and sign-off of monthly allocations to mitigate risks and enhance financial governance.
• Act as the SAP Controlling (CO) module lead, supporting system implementation, driving automation of manual processes, and optimizing financial workflows.
• Maintain General Ledger accounts and ensure accurate postings across revenue and cost streams, aligning financial data with operational realities.
• Support revenue recognition and reconciliation by revenue stream, bridging Revenue GLs with Cost Center activity to ensure financial cohesion.
• Perform GL account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively to ensure timely month-end closures and audit readiness.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial systems, reporting processes, and operational efficiency, positioning Botanica for scalable growth.
• Serve as the focal point between Botanica Finance and Group RSG Finance, ensuring consistency, alignment, and adherence to corporate financial standards.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce, or a related field, complemented by a professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or an equivalent qualification. Ideal candidates will boast:

• 6-8 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, and cost control, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role leading accounting or finance functions.
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and internal controls, with a track record of driving operational efficiency.
• Experience in ERP systems, particularly SAP, and proficiency in financial management software to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
• Industry-specific knowledge in landscaping, construction, facilities management, hospitality, or project-based environments is highly preferred, given Botanica’s unique operational context.
• Familiarity with audit processes, regulatory compliance, and financial governance requirements to ensure robust financial integrity and risk management.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to bridge cross-functional teams, aligning financial strategy with broader business objectives in a dynamic, sustainability-driven organization.
