We are now seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Plant Local Support Engineer – Application to join our manufacturing plant team in Riyadh as we transition from startup agility to robust Business as Usual (BAU) operations. As an IT Plant Local Support Engineer, your responsibilities will be both impactful and diverse. You will:

• Optimize and enhance enterprise applications across manufacturing, shopfloor, supply chain, and plant operations to align with evolving business needs and technological advancements.
• Configure and tailor application functionalities based on meticulously analyzed business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with global standards and local operational demands.
• Proactively monitor application performance, swiftly investigate incidents, and execute troubleshooting to resolve issues with precision and efficiency. Your problem-solving skills will drive root cause analysis and long-term operational resilience.
• Lead and participate in critical application deployments, upgrades, patching activities, and lifecycle management initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to production environments.
• Contribute to operational transformation projects by engaging in requirements analysis, rigorous testing, and the adoption of AI tools and monitoring solutions. Your collaboration will accelerate digital innovation and process optimization.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with infrastructure, database, and security teams to guarantee application availability, reliability, and performance—critical for maintaining seamless production workflows.
• Provide expert Level 2 support for production environments, maintaining comprehensive documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge articles to empower both local and global teams.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise applications within dynamic business environments, with a proven track record of delivering operational excellence.
• Deep familiarity with manufacturing operations and end-to-end supply chain ecosystems, enabling you to understand and address the unique challenges of plant-level IT infrastructure.
• Technical proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL, DB2, or Oracle, ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization of application data.
• Fluency in ITIL processes and Agile methodologies, allowing you to align IT support strategies with industry best practices and adaptive workflows.
• Experience with IT service management platforms like BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management, or ServiceNow, enabling efficient incident management and service delivery.
• Comprehensive understanding of application security, access management, monitoring platforms, and application performance monitoring (APM) tools to safeguard and optimize critical systems.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, complemented by exceptional English communication skills to facilitate seamless collaboration across diverse teams.
