As a Senior Quality Engineer, ADAS, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability for our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) at our Advanced Manufacturing Platform 2 (AMP2) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee all ADAS Quality Engineering initiatives, driving excellence across the entire product lifecycle—from development and launch to full-scale production. Your work will be instrumental in safeguarding Lucid’s manufacturing operations against quality risks while fostering collaboration across Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Launch, and Field Quality teams. Your proactive approach will ensure seamless execution of quality processes, aligning with Lucid’s rigorous corporate standards and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will span critical quality assurance functions, ensuring that every aspect of ADAS meets Lucid’s uncompromising quality benchmarks:

• Lead Quality Execution Across Milestones: Oversee compliance of quality deliverables at every project milestone during the launch phase, ensuring alignment with Lucid’s corporate standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering: Lead quality test and validation activities to verify that ADAS requirements are met, bridging gaps between engineering and manufacturing teams.
• APQP/PPAP Coordination: Partner with Supplier Quality and Product Engineering to review, validate, and support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities, ensuring part maturity and production readiness.
• Supplier Quality Management: Monitor supplier responsiveness to non-conforming or defective parts, defining Incoming Quality Inspection requirements and providing training to internal teams and third-party resources.
• Risk Mitigation and Problem-Solving: Proactively identify supplier risks and lead mitigation strategies in collaboration with Supplier Quality Development. Drive root-cause analysis and solution implementation with the Launch team, validating effectiveness through on-site (Gemba) assessments and ensuring long-term sustainability.
• Field Quality Leadership: Lead containment and root-cause resolution for internal quality issues identified through Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and Lucid Customer Product Audit findings, improving customer satisfaction by addressing 0MiS, 3MiS, 6MiS, and similar quality metrics in coordination with Field Quality, Supplier Quality, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing.
• New Parts Introduction (NPI) Oversight: Ensure readiness and approvals for NPI, including trials, parts change management, and PPAP approvals, while monitoring Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) within PLM or equivalent systems.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a robust blend of technical expertise, leadership, and a passion for driving operational excellence:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Total Quality Management, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 5+ years of relevant post-graduation experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior quality engineering or ADAS-focused role. Critical experience in a greenfield OEM environment is required, demonstrating your ability to establish and enforce quality standards from the ground up.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to influence, motivate, and align cross-functional teams and senior leadership, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, coupled with exceptional data analysis and visualization abilities to drive informed decision-making.
• Operational Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment, where adaptability and resilience are key to success.
