As a Lifeguard within our premier resort facilities, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a secure, enjoyable, and luxurious environment for our esteemed guests. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers and guests in and around our aquatic facilities. Your vigilance, professionalism, and proactive approach will create a seamless and secure experience for everyone. Key Responsibilities:

• Safety First: Actively monitor swimming areas to identify and respond to potential hazards, including dangerous conditions, unsafe activities, or swimmers in distress. Utilize appropriate rescue techniques to assist individuals in need, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Emergency Preparedness: Provide immediate first aid and assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management promptly, adhering to company protocols and local regulations.
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and well-organized pool deck by washing, mopping, and stacking towels according to established procedures. Ensure all equipment and tools are inspected for defects and functionality.
• Guest Engagement: Welcome and acknowledge all guests with warmth and professionalism, anticipating and addressing their needs with a proactive and attentive approach. Assist individuals with disabilities and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
• Compliance and Professionalism: Adhere strictly to company policies, safety regulations, and local certifications. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets at all times.
• Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and respectful work environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining clear, professional communication. Embrace the diverse backgrounds and talents of your team to deliver cohesive and exceptional service.
• Dynamic Work Environment: Be prepared to move quickly to respond to situations, whether running, walking, or navigating uneven surfaces. Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and manipulating objects up to 50 pounds independently, and heavier objects with assistance when required.

Qualifications and Certifications:

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Certifications: Possess valid certifications in CPR and First Aid. Additional certifications or training required by local and state agencies must be maintained.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Physical and Mental Readiness: Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, and perform physical tasks that may include bending, reaching, and lifting. Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills are essential.
