Key Responsibilities:

• On-Site Execution: Lead and coordinate structural field activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Monitor construction progress and quality control to maintain alignment with engineering designs.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance to construction teams, resolving field-related challenges, and ensuring structural integrity throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including as-built drawings, progress reports, and variance logs. Prepare detailed field reports to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and clients.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between engineering teams, contractors, and clients, fostering transparent communication and ensuring all parties are aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Safety and Compliance: Champion a culture of safety by enforcing rigorous site safety standards and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot technical and logistical challenges on-site, proposing innovative solutions to optimize project efficiency and quality without compromising safety or structural integrity.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PE, Chartered Engineer) is a significant advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong preference for candidates with field experience in construction projects. Familiarity with Middle Eastern or international project environments is highly beneficial.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Revit Structure) and familiarity with construction management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, AutoCAD). Knowledge of local building codes and standards in Saudi Arabia is essential.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in multicultural teams and adapt to diverse project dynamics. Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
