With a hybrid working model—three days in the office and two days remote—you’ll balance flexibility with meaningful in-person collaboration, contributing to a forward-thinking organisation with bold ambitions for growth.

In this commercially focused FP&A role, you’ll blend financial modelling, forecasting, and strategic business partnering to empower decision-making across the organisation. Reporting to the FP&A Senior Manager, you’ll become a trusted advisor to key teams, including Sales, Capital Markets, Product, Operations, and Marketing, delivering actionable insights that drive profitability and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Deep Commercial Expertise: Gain an in-depth understanding of LendInvest’s business model, product offerings, funding structures, and the key drivers of revenue, margins, and profitability. Act as the go-to FP&A subject-matter expert for specific products and business areas, providing tailored financial insights to stakeholders.
• Partner Across the Business: Collaborate closely with Sales, Capital Markets, Product, Operations, and Marketing teams to support strategic initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment decisions. Your role will bridge the gap between financial analysis and commercial execution, ensuring decisions are both data-driven and commercially viable.
• Drive Profitability and Pricing Strategies: Assess the financial implications of pricing adjustments, funding cost fluctuations, product mix shifts, and credit assumptions. Own and refine profitability analyses to identify growth opportunities and optimise commercial performance across channels and products.
• Challenge and Refine Financial Assumptions: Develop, maintain, and critically evaluate the commercial assumptions underpinning forecasts, financial models, and business cases. Ensure these models remain agile, reflective of current market conditions, and aligned with LendInvest’s strategic direction.
• Translate Insights into Actionable Intelligence: Convert intricate financial data into compelling, concise messaging for senior leadership and the Executive Committee. Prepare insightful reports, presentations, and analyses that inform investor communications, results presentations, and stakeholder engagements.
• Support Strategic Planning and Investor Relations: Play a key role in the annual budgeting process, medium-term planning, and reforecasting. Provide robust modelling of critical business drivers, including origination volumes, pricing, margins, funding costs, and operational expenses. Additionally, support responses to investor queries and external communications, ensuring consistency and transparency in financial messaging.
• Foster Data-Driven Decision-Making: Offer constructive challenge to commercial decisions, highlighting the financial and non-financial implications of alternative courses of action. Help stakeholders navigate trade-offs and make informed choices that enhance long-term value.
• Innovate and Evolve: Contribute to the continuous improvement of LendInvest’s forecasting model, incorporating new products, funding arrangements, and strategic initiatives. Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage data to anticipate market shifts and their impact on business performance.
