With ambitions to expand our product offerings, technology, and global reach, we’re seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and commercial decisions.

As part of our hybrid working model—balancing three days in-office with two days remote—you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights that fuel growth. This is a dynamic role where financial acumen meets commercial strategy, blending rigorous analysis with strategic partnership to enhance profitability and business performance.

Your Impact

Reporting to the FP&A Senior Manager, you will be the trusted financial partner for teams across Sales, Capital Markets, Product, Operations, and Marketing, translating complex financial data into actionable commercial strategies. Your work will directly influence key decisions, from pricing and product development to investor communications and stakeholder engagement. This is more than analysis—it’s about challenging assumptions, refining forecasts, and ensuring every financial insight drives tangible business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial & Financial Leadership: Develop an in-depth understanding of LendInvest’s business model, product offerings, funding structures, and the financial drivers behind revenue, margins, and profitability. Act as the go-to FP&A expert for specific products and business areas, providing strategic financial guidance to stakeholders.
• Strategic Business Partnering: Collaborate with Sales, Capital Markets, Product, and Operations to support data-driven decision-making. Assess the financial implications of pricing strategies, funding costs, product mix, and credit assumptions, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.
• Profitability & Performance Analysis: Own and refine product and channel profitability models, identifying key drivers of returns and opportunities to optimise commercial performance. Conduct variance analysis between actual and forecasted results, uncovering underlying trends and guiding future strategies.
• Forecasting & Financial Modelling: Develop, maintain, and challenge commercial assumptions in forecasts and financial models, ensuring they reflect current market conditions and business strategy. Incorporate new products, funding arrangements, and strategic initiatives into our forecasting framework.
• Investor & Stakeholder Communication: Prepare insightful reports, presentations, and analyses for the Executive Committee and senior leadership. Support investor communications, results presentations, and external reporting, ensuring consistency between financial performance and external messaging.
• Constructive Challenge & Strategic Insights: Provide objective challenge to commercial decisions, highlighting financial and non-financial implications. Help stakeholders evaluate alternative courses of action, ensuring decisions are both commercially sound and financially robust.
• Budgeting & Planning: Support the annual budgeting process, medium-term planning, and reforecasting initiatives, ensuring financial targets remain achievable and aligned with business objectives.
• Model Development: Build and maintain robust models for key business drivers, including origination volumes, pricing, margins, funding costs, and operational expenses, to support long-term growth and decision-making.
