Your Impact
As the Medical Scientific Liaison – Oncology, your responsibilities will be multifaceted and transformative:
- Scientific Advocacy and Leadership: Establish and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to position AstraZeneca as a trusted leader in oncology science. Drive adoption of our innovative therapies by delivering compelling evidence of their clinical and scientific value, tailored to address the unique needs of patients in the KSA market.
- Strategic Medical Education: Design and deliver impactful medical education initiatives, equipping HCPs with the knowledge to optimize patient care. Collaborate with internal teams to refine brand strategies and ensure our messaging resonates with both clinical and commercial stakeholders.
- Clinical Study Oversight: Ensure the seamless execution of clinical studies, adhering to rigorous standards for quality, cost, and timelines. Monitor ongoing research initiatives from inception to completion, providing timely progress updates and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Pharmacovigilance and Compliance: Safeguard patient welfare and AstraZeneca’s reputation by managing adverse event reports and named patient supplies in strict alignment with legal, regulatory, and ethical frameworks. Integrate pharmacovigilance systems to meet both local and global standards.
- Team Development and Collaboration: Foster a culture of inclusion and continuous learning by mentoring colleagues, sharing expertise, and promoting active listening and curiosity within the team. Drive collective growth through knowledge-sharing and collaborative problem-solving.
