Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Architect and Deploy Citrix Solutions: Design and implement robust Citrix environments, including XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, to support scalable virtualization initiatives.
• Advanced Networking and Load Balancing: Configure and manage Citrix ADC (NetScaler) and related load-balancing solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security for virtualized applications.
• User-Centric Management: Oversee user profiles, application delivery, and security policies to maintain a secure, efficient, and personalized virtual workspace.
• Proactive Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve Citrix-related issues with precision, providing timely support to end-users and minimizing downtime.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze performance metrics, optimizing Citrix environments for resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security protocols, including access controls, encryption, and licensing compliance, to safeguard sensitive data and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with IT, DevOps, and business teams to integrate Citrix solutions with existing infrastructures, fostering seamless interoperability.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Develop comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer and training.
• Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of industry trends and Citrix advancements, recommending innovative solutions to enhance productivity and user satisfaction.
• System Upgrades and Maintenance: Plan and execute regular upgrades, patches, and optimizations to ensure the Citrix environment remains at peak performance.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Citrix administration, with a proven track record in managing Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops and Citrix networking products (e.g., NetScaler, ADC).
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), along with expertise in networking principles and protocols.
• Certifications: Citrix certifications (e.g., CCA-V, CCP-V) are highly valued but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
• Preferred Skills:
• Proficient use of PowerShell for automating administrative tasks and workflows.
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Citrix Director, third-party solutions) to ensure high availability and performance.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail in troubleshooting complex issues.
