We are currently seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer, Infrastructure Specialist to join our North team—a revolutionary AI workspace platform designed to seamlessly integrate AI into enterprise workflows. North provides a secure, customizable environment where businesses can deploy AI solutions while maintaining full ownership of their data. As an integral member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in deploying North across private clouds and on-premises environments, ensuring seamless integration with our clients’ infrastructure while driving transformative outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Lead end-to-end deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises environments, including meticulous planning, configuration, rigorous testing, and strategic rollout to ensure minimal disruption and maximum value.
• Partner with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure requirements, security protocols, and data management practices, aligning North with client-specific needs while upholding the highest standards of compliance and privacy.
• Drive high-velocity, high-impact solutions by experimenting with innovative deployment strategies tailored to client demands, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges proactively, minimizing downtime and delivering timely, scalable solutions that enhance client satisfaction.
• Leverage forward deployment expertise with 20-40% travel to client premises, fostering direct collaboration and on-site problem-solving to accelerate project timelines.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-centric engineer with:

• Proven experience deploying enterprise software in private, hybrid, or multi-cloud environments, with a deep understanding of infrastructure scalability and resilience.
• Expertise in administering large-scale production Kubernetes clusters and proficiency with tools like Helm for streamlined deployments.
• A strong foundation in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems such as Git to ensure efficient and repeatable workflows.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP), networking, and virtualization technologies to architect robust and secure deployments.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English, enabling seamless communication with clients and cross-functional teams in the Middle East region.
• A track record of excelling in fast-paced environments where adaptability and problem-solving are paramount.

While not mandatory, the following will be highly valued:

• Experience with GPU node orchestration and scheduling, particularly in distributed systems and performance optimization contexts.
• A nuanced understanding of the intersection between GPU infrastructure, inference systems, Kubernetes, and AI workload optimization.
