Key Responsibilities

• Medication Dispensing & Clinical Excellence: Deliver meticulous prescription processing by reviewing and validating doctors’ orders for accuracy, dosage correctness, potential drug interactions, and contraindications. Dispense medications with unwavering precision, providing patients with clear, actionable guidance on dosage schedules, administration techniques, and potential side effects to foster informed decision-making and adherence.
• Inventory & Operational Integrity: Maintain rigorous control over pharmaceutical inventory by monitoring stock levels, documenting all movements, and initiating timely reorder requests for critical supplies. Ensure compliance with stringent storage protocols, including temperature and environmental conditions, to preserve the efficacy and safety of medications and vaccines. Conduct regular audits of expiration dates, quarantine expired or compromised products, and execute disposal procedures in strict adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Serve as a guardian of compliance, ensuring adherence to the rigorous standards set by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Ministry of Health (MOH), and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). Maintain meticulous records of controlled substances and restricted prescriptions, aligning with legal and ethical obligations to prevent diversion and misuse.
• Patient-Centric Consultation & Clinical Support: Act as a trusted advisor to patients, offering personalized counseling on medication usage, storage, and health maintenance to empower them in managing their treatment regimens effectively. Collaborate closely with medical teams, providing expert insights on drug alternatives, dosing adjustments, and potential interactions to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
