Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain accurate, detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring alignment with project scope, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis of project expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending strategic adjustments to enhance profitability.
• Lead cost control initiatives by monitoring project budgets, tracking variances, and providing real-time financial reporting to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to align cost strategies with project goals, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize advanced cost management software and tools, alongside sophisticated Excel modeling, to forecast financial outcomes and support data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and implement cost engineering best practices, fostering a culture of financial accountability and operational efficiency.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continuous improvement of cost engineering processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate with the following credentials and expertise:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline, complemented by a robust foundation in financial management and project controls.
• 13+ years of progressive experience in cost engineering or project controls, with a strong preference for candidates who have demonstrated success in the construction industry. Experience managing large-scale projects and complex cost structures is essential.
• Proven proficiency in cost management software, including tools such as Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera, or other industry-standard platforms, alongside advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and analysis.
• A sharp analytical mindset with a proven ability to solve complex cost-related challenges, adapt to evolving project requirements, and deliver innovative solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, present findings clearly, and foster collaborative relationships.
• Strong leadership abilities to guide teams, mentor professionals, and drive the adoption of best practices in cost engineering.
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to construction and project finance.
