In this dynamic position, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance, mitigate risks, and ensure cost discipline throughout the project lifecycle. Your work will directly impact the success of three revolutionary terminals—Terminal 6 (a hyper-efficient low-cost carrier facility), the Iconic Terminal (a cutting-edge, high-capacity hub), and the Private Aviation Terminal—each designed to set new benchmarks in aviation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

As the Cost Engineer (Finance), your responsibilities will include:

• Cost Estimation and Analysis: Perform routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities to ensure financial accuracy and project viability. Develop and refine cost models to support decision-making and resource allocation.
• Budget Management and Reporting: Assist in budget allocation, forecasting, and financial reporting, including variance analysis to maintain alignment with project objectives. Support monthly financial closures and ensure data integrity across all project accounting systems.
• Cost Monitoring and Control: Implement and enforce cost monitoring and control standards, systems, and reporting protocols. Develop and maintain cost data for proposals, contracts, and project documentation to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Quantity Takeoffs and Unit Rate Development: Support the creation of quantity takeoffs for specific construction disciplines and recommend modifications to project codes of accounts. Develop and apply unit rates (cost and labor) to ensure accurate cost projections and financial planning.
• Vendor and Client Invoicing: Review and process vendor invoices to verify proper cost coding and alignment with project budgets. Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare and review client invoices, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and documentation requirements.
• Financial Reconciliation and Account Management: Monitor and reconcile key financial accounts, including sub-job financials and general ledger entries. Ensure seamless integration between project accounting and operational activities to maintain financial transparency.
• Project Trend Analysis: Contribute to the project trend program by analyzing financial performance metrics and recommending actionable insights to enhance cost efficiency and project outcomes.
