Your Impact

As a Roads Engineer at ARX, you will be at the forefront of designing and delivering world-class road and highway systems that enhance connectivity, safety, and economic growth. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of road and highway designs, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulatory frameworks.
• Technical Excellence: Conduct in-depth analyses of road geometry, horizontal and vertical alignments, grading, pavement design, and traffic flow optimization to create efficient and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
• Compliance and Integration: Ensure all designs adhere to KSA’s technical codes, standards, and authority requirements while seamlessly integrating road systems with broader project disciplines.
• Collaborative Project Delivery: Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering teams to harmonize road infrastructure with urban planning, environmental considerations, and operational needs.
• Technical Mentorship: Provide expert guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between technical teams and external stakeholders, including government authorities, clients, and contractors, to ensure project success.
• Documentation and Reporting: Develop detailed engineering reports, technical specifications, and deliverables to support project execution and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 4 years of experience in infrastructure projects, with a specialized focus on roads and highways.
• Proven KSA experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in Saudi Arabia, demonstrating your ability to navigate local regulatory and operational landscapes.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of road and highway design principles, including geometric design, traffic engineering, pavement analysis, and intersection/junction planning.
• Regulatory Acumen: Familiarity with KSA’s technical standards, codes, and authority requirements to ensure compliance and project viability.
• Software Expertise: Proficiency in industry-leading tools such as Civil 3D and Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, with an ability to leverage digital technologies for efficient design and analysis.
• Communication Skills: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage for seamless collaboration in the local market.
