Your Impact

As a Senior Wet Utilities Engineer at ARX, you will be responsible for leading the design, planning, and execution of critical wet utility systems—including potable water, wastewater/sewerage, irrigation/TS&E (Temporary Stream Encroachment), and fire water systems—across large-scale infrastructure projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of these systems into broader project designs while adhering to the highest technical and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Design and Oversight: Lead the conceptualization, detailed design, and technical review of wet utility networks, ensuring they are optimized for efficiency, sustainability, and long-term performance.
• Hydraulic and Engineering Excellence: Perform and validate complex hydraulic calculations, network modeling, and pipe sizing using advanced software tools such as Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS to deliver robust and innovative solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs align with local KSA regulations, utility authority requirements, and international best practices, mitigating risks and ensuring project viability.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Act as a technical liaison between project managers, architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to harmonize wet utility systems with broader infrastructure components, including utility corridors, crossings, and interfaces.
• Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Provide expert guidance to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation while maintaining the highest standards of quality in all deliverables.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with government authorities, clients, and external stakeholders to align project requirements with technical feasibility, ensuring smooth execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Documentation and Reporting: Author detailed engineering reports, technical specifications, and project documentation to support decision-making and regulatory approvals.
