Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer at ARX, your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization, planning, and execution of dry utility systems for diverse infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless integration with broader project objectives.
• Technical Excellence: Conduct and oversee engineering analyses, including network design, cable sizing, and load calculations, to deliver robust and efficient utility solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to KSA’s stringent codes, standards, and utility authority requirements, mitigating risks and ensuring project viability.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to harmonize dry utility systems with structural, mechanical, and civil elements.
• Corridor and Interface Management: Manage utility corridors, crossings, connections, and diversions, ensuring optimal placement and minimal disruption to project timelines.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed engineering reports, technical specifications, and documentation to support project delivery and stakeholder communication.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government authorities, clients, and external stakeholders to align project requirements with technical feasibility and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects with a specialization in dry utilities.
• 3+ years of direct experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, demonstrating a deep understanding of local market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and utility authority processes.
• Expertise in dry utility systems, including power distribution, telecommunications, and street lighting, with hands-on experience in design, construction, and commissioning.
• Proficiency in KSA’s technical standards, including ESMA, KACARE, and other relevant regulations governing utility infrastructure.
• Technical proficiency in industry-leading software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and specialized electrical design tools to streamline workflows and enhance project outcomes.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage for seamless communication in the local context.
