Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Independent Guest & Maintenance Support: Proactively address repair requests from guests and clients with minimal supervision, ensuring swift and effective resolutions to maintain operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Advanced Preventive Maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and upkeep of tools, equipment, and systems to prevent downtime and extend asset lifespan. This includes managing inventories, ordering supplies, and ensuring all machinery—from HVAC units to plumbing fixtures—operates at peak performance.
• Technical Expertise & Diagnostics: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. Diagnose and resolve complex issues across HVAC, refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, and pool heating equipment, often requiring intricate troubleshooting and repair work.
• Cross-Disciplinary Mechanical & Electrical Skills: Excel in at least three of the following technical domains, with superior proficiency in two: HVAC/R, electrical systems, general mechanics, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls, carpentry/finishing, kitchen equipment, vehicle maintenance, energy conservation, and building management. Combine this expertise to perform high-level repairs, including motor and pump replacements, electrical component upgrades, and plumbing system diagnostics.
• Digital & Software Proficiency: Leverage advanced engineering software for preventive maintenance, energy management, and system integration. Stay current with the latest tools and technologies to optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Shift Leadership & On-Call Responsibilities: Assume the role of **On-Call Engineer**, conducting rounds, monitoring systems, and ensuring 24/7 readiness to address emergencies or critical issues.
• Training & Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and team members, sharing your technical knowledge to elevate collective expertise and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Safety & Compliance: Uphold all company safety policies, report hazards or incidents promptly, and complete mandatory training and certifications. Handle materials—including flammables—with strict adherence to protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
• Guest Experience & Professionalism: Embrace a guest-centric mindset, anticipating needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and delivering personalized service with professionalism and warmth. Maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and present a polished, uniformed appearance at all times.
• Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Align with company standards to ensure every repair, inspection, and maintenance task meets or exceeds expectations. Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies.
