  • Manage the end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial consolidations, to maintain transparency and compliance across the organization.
  • Direct the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, as well as the Projects Ledger, to optimize cash flow and ensure seamless commercial operations, including contract negotiations, insurance management, and bonds/guarantees.
  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabian regulatory and tax requirements, including Zakat, VAT, and General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI), while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of evolving local financial regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and ERP implementations, including testing, maintenance, and enhancement of reporting schedules and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain robust accounting policies, internal controls, and documentation frameworks to mitigate financial risks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze project-level cost tracking, budgeting, and Profit & Loss reporting, ensuring subcontractor and purchase order allocations are accurately managed and optimized.
  • Prepare and present board-level financial reports, fostering strong collaboration with parent company stakeholders and coordinating external audit processes to ensure seamless compliance and transparency.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of professional growth, accountability, and excellence among accountants and finance support staff.

Why You Will Excel:

We are looking for a seasoned finance professional with:

  • A proven track record of senior finance leadership within the construction or engineering sectors, demonstrating the ability to drive financial strategy and operational excellence in dynamic environments.
  • Deep technical expertise in accounting, with hands-on experience in AP, AR, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting, ensuring precision and efficiency in all financial processes.
  • Extensive experience working with ERP systems in construction or project-based environments, leveraging technology to streamline operations and enhance financial visibility.
  • A strong background in leading month-end close processes and financial reporting cycles, ensuring timely and accurate financial closures that support strategic planning.
  • Qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 10-12 years of relevant experience, including a proven history of leadership and managerial success.
  • Valuable experience operating within the Saudi Arabian regulatory and tax environment, including expertise in Zakat, VAT, and GOSI, to navigate local financial complexities with confidence.
