• Comprehensive Patient Care: Provide holistic, evidence-based medical care aligned with international standards, including the CBAHI/JCIA benchmarks and the Ministry of Health regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ensure that every interaction reflects professionalism, empathy, and a patient-centered approach.
• Clinical Excellence: Conduct thorough history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests to formulate accurate and effective management plans. Collaborate closely with senior staff to ensure seamless continuity of care for inpatients and outpatients alike.
• Home-Based Care Coordination: Deliver high-quality medical services directly in patients’ homes, adapting care plans to meet individual needs while maintaining rigorous documentation and compliance with institutional policies.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Actively participate in daily ward rounds, on-call rotations, and morning reports to ensure cohesive care planning. Liaise with consultants, specialists, and senior registrars to address complex cases and optimize patient outcomes.
• Diagnostic and Procedural Expertise: Perform essential diagnostic procedures, such as lumbar punctures, bone marrow aspirations, and cavity aspirations, under the guidance of senior staff. Ensure all interventions are conducted with precision and adherence to best practices.
• Patient and Family Education: Engage patients and their families in their care journey by providing clear, culturally sensitive, and developmentally appropriate health education. Document all educational interventions in patient records to ensure continuity and accountability.
• Quality and Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of medical ethics, institutional by-laws, and regulatory requirements. Contribute to continuous medical education (CME) initiatives, including grand rounds, journal clubs, and morbidity and mortality reviews.
• Administrative Support: Assist in administrative tasks as assigned by the Head of Department, including preparing discharge summaries, death reports, and specialized patient documentation.
