Key Responsibilities

Your role demands a blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional collaboration skills. You will:

• Align with Client Objectives: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to fully grasp the strategic, operational, and technical requirements of each engagement, ensuring solutions are tailored to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Lead Architecture Workshops: Actively participate in design sessions with clients and partners, offering expert insights to refine security architectures and ensure alignment with Fortinet’s best practices.
• Develop Comprehensive Documentation: Author high-quality technical deliverables, including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), migration plans, test plans, and implementation guides, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.
• Define Project Scope and Scope of Work: Contribute to scoping meetings and the development of Statements of Work (SoWs) by analyzing client needs and translating them into actionable, risk-mitigated project plans.
• Ensure Documentation Excellence: Maintain up-to-date, secure, and accessible project documentation throughout the engagement lifecycle, fostering transparency and accountability.
• Deploy and Optimize Security Solutions: Perform hands-on deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Fortinet’s Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and complementary security products, such as Email Security, Advanced Threat Protection, Endpoint Security, and Web Application Firewalls, within client environments.
• Facilitate Smooth Transitions: Guide clients through critical phases—such as rollout, migration, or go-live—ensuring minimal disruption and maximum adoption of Fortinet’s security solutions.
• Empower Client Teams: Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to equip client staff with the expertise needed to manage and operate Fortinet technologies independently, fostering long-term self-sufficiency.
• Resolve and Escalate Issues: Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges, escalating complex issues as needed to minimize risk and ensure project timelines are met.
• Mitigate Risk Exposure: Proactively identify and address potential risks to Fortinet’s reputation and client trust, ensuring engagements adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
• Fulfill Administrative Requirements: Complete and submit all necessary internal documentation, including timesheets, activity reports, and project updates, to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
• Upskill Continuously: Commit to ongoing professional development by leveraging self-study resources, attending training programs, and staying abreast of emerging threats and Fortinet’s evolving product portfolio.

Core Competencies and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will bring a robust blend of technical expertise, leadership, and interpersonal skills:

• Proven Experience: 6+ years in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support, or administration, with a specialized focus on network security products. Preference will be given to candidates with 3+ years of experience as a Senior Professional Services Consultant or Engineer.
• Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), complemented by proficiency in at least two of the following critical technologies: Email Security, Advanced Threat Protection, Endpoint Security, Application Security, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Network Security Management (NSM), SIEM, Network Virtualization, Software-Defined Networks (SDN), or cloud-based security solutions.
• Communication and Documentation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to create clear, concise, and visually compelling technical documentation that educates and empowers stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving Approach: A structured, analytical mindset for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues with efficiency and precision.
• Collaborative Leadership: Ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team, fostering cooperation across diverse stakeholders—including senior management, clients, and cross-functional departments.
