As a key member of our Network Systems Protection Section, you will play a critical role in fortifying our digital ecosystem against evolving cyber threats. Your responsibilities will span across strategic planning, incident response, policy enforcement, and continuous improvement—ensuring that our network infrastructure remains resilient, secure, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of high-impact duties, including but not limited to:

• Policy Implementation and Compliance: Lead the execution of network security policies, firewall configurations, access controls, and isolation protocols for high-risk systems, ensuring full alignment with approved security frameworks and industry best practices.
• Incident Response and Analysis: Investigate and analyze network-related cybersecurity incidents, conduct thorough root cause analyses, and implement remediation measures to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences. Prepare detailed technical reports to document findings and recommendations.
• Technology Oversight: Operate and monitor advanced network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion prevention/ detection systems (IPS/IDS), network access control (NAC), secure web gateways, VPNs, and network segmentation solutions. Maintain and update security signatures while collaborating with stakeholders to address vulnerabilities and ensure system stability.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize network-related cybersecurity risks, developing comprehensive remediation and mitigation strategies to enhance the security of our infrastructure across data centers, cloud platforms, and hybrid environments.
• Policy and Process Leadership: Support the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, standards, and controls, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and compliance levels are consistently monitored. Identify opportunities for process optimization and align operational practices with leading industry standards.
• Strategic Planning and Reporting: Define key milestones and activities to achieve the objectives of the Network Systems Protection Section, implement performance standards, and track KPIs to ensure alignment with departmental goals. Conduct regular progress meetings with the Director of Digital Security Technologies to provide updates on performance, achievements, and progress.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Represent the section in working groups and participate in cross-functional initiatives to drive effective coordination and execution of security-related projects. Prepare and submit periodic reports detailing section activities, performance metrics, and progress against established objectives.
• Knowledge Management: Maintain, document, and archive internal records, procedures, and supporting documentation to ensure accessibility and effective knowledge sharing within the organization.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Evaluate new security technologies, conduct change and implementation testing, and assess their impact on network security and service stability. Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance our security posture and operational efficiency.
• Operational Decision-Making: Make informed operational decisions within the scope of your authority to ensure the Network Systems Protection Section operates at peak performance and resilience.
