Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for a wide range of technical and operational tasks, including but not limited to:

• System Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of electrical control systems and components tailored to our manufacturing equipment, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and efficiency benchmarks.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical malfunctions across machinery, production lines, and plant infrastructure with precision and efficiency. Implement robust preventative maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime and extend the lifespan of critical systems.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare, interpret, and update electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure clarity and compliance with industry standards. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all electrical systems and procedures.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure full adherence to all relevant electrical safety standards and regulations, including NFPA and IEC guidelines. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential risks and recommend actionable solutions to mitigate them.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, production managers, and technicians, to optimize equipment performance and streamline operational workflows.
• Project Management: Oversee electrical projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships to deliver high-quality results on schedule.
• Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor junior electrical technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the team.
• Technological Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends in industrial control systems, automation, and electrical engineering to propose and implement innovative solutions that enhance our manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving acumen, and a collaborative mindset. We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in specialized areas are a significant advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Engineer, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in manufacturing or industrial environments. Experience with industrial control systems, such as PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and creating electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Familiarity with CAD software, such as AutoCAD Electrical, is highly desirable.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and compliance requirements to ensure all systems meet regulatory and industry best practices.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, including budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor coordination, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Adaptability: Willingness to work independently as well as in a team environment, adapt to evolving technological landscapes, and embrace continuous learning to stay at the forefront of industry advancements.
