Key Responsibilities

You will lead and execute a comprehensive suite of testing activities, including:

• Design and Execution of Test Cases: Develop and maintain **manual and automated test cases** for sanity, regression, and end-to-end testing, covering both **UI and REST API** layers to ensure flawless application performance.
• Automation Framework Development: Leverage industry-leading tools and frameworks—such as **Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, and RestAssured**—to create scalable, maintainable, and high-coverage automated test suites that enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Bug Triaging and Verification: Identify, document, and prioritize defects with precision, ensuring thorough verification and collaboration with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Regression and Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth regression testing and performance analysis, utilizing tools like **JMeter** to evaluate system scalability, load handling, and non-functional requirements under real-world conditions.
• FHIR Conformance Testing: Apply specialized knowledge of **HL7 FHIR standards** to validate interoperability, data integrity, and compliance with healthcare industry protocols, ensuring seamless integration with clinical and commercial systems.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Partner with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to refine testing strategies, address technical challenges, and implement best practices in software quality assurance.

Key Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise and industry experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field**—or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: **7+ years** of hands-on experience in testing **distributed systems and SaaS applications**, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions in regulated environments.
• API and Web Services Expertise: Extensive experience testing **REST APIs**, either through code-based validation or tools like **SoapUI/Postman**, with a focus on ensuring API reliability, security, and performance.
• FHIR Proficiency: Strong preference for candidates with **proven experience in HL7 FHIR conformance testing**, enabling them to validate healthcare data standards and interoperability requirements.
• Automation and Scripting: Deep expertise in **Java-based automation frameworks**, including **Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and RestAssured**, to build reusable, efficient test scripts that reduce manual testing cycles.
• Performance Testing: Familiarity with **JMeter and other performance testing tools** to evaluate system behavior under high load, ensuring optimal scalability and responsiveness.
• Version Control and Collaboration: Proficiency in **Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket** for version control, enabling seamless integration with agile development workflows.
• Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of **SQL (Oracle, MS-SQL)** and **MongoDB**, allowing you to validate data integrity, query performance, and system interactions.
