Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to conceptualize, plan, and execute events that exceed client expectations.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
• Coordinate with vendors, venues, and external partners to secure logistics, catering, AV equipment, and other essential services.
• Create and maintain detailed event timelines, ensuring on-time execution and smooth transitions between event segments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle.
• Leverage data and feedback to continuously refine event strategies and enhance guest experiences.
• Uphold Marriott’s brand standards, ensuring all events reflect our commitment to hospitality excellence.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members to foster a culture of professionalism and collaboration.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in event planning, coordination, or a similar role within the hospitality or corporate sector.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask in high-pressure environments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering flawless execution from concept to completion.
• Familiarity with event management software, CRM tools, and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is a must; additional languages are a plus.
• Certifications in event management (e.g., CMP) are highly desirable.
