As a key member of our project delivery team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders—including engineering teams, construction crews, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives—to drive the successful completion of complex EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining alignment with project specifications, budgetary constraints, safety protocols, and timelines, all while fostering a culture of quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership and Coordination: Manage and oversee the engineering and construction phases of 380 kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects, ensuring seamless integration of technical, logistical, and operational elements.
• Contract and Documentation Review: Thoroughly analyze and validate EPC contract documents, technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and compliance with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Technical Oversight: Coordinate critical construction activities, including transmission line foundation works, tower erection, stringing operations, and associated civil infrastructure, ensuring adherence to design and safety protocols.
• Design and Calculation Validation: Review and approve design calculations, tower spotting profiles, sag-tension analyses, and construction drawings to guarantee structural integrity and operational efficiency.
• Issue Resolution and Change Management: Lead the resolution of Requests for Information (RFIs), technical queries (TQs), design modifications, and engineering revisions, ensuring timely and compliant adjustments are implemented.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain weekly/monthly progress reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity metrics, and resource utilization to optimize project outcomes.
• Commissioning and Handover Support: Provide critical support during pre-commissioning, commissioning, energization, and punch-list closure phases, ensuring a flawless transition to operational readiness and final project handover.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional with the following credentials:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Experience: 10–15 years of proven experience in transmission line projects, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to 380 kV or higher voltage OHTL EPC projects. Familiarity with the intricacies of high-voltage infrastructure is essential.
• Industry-Specific Knowledge: Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), National Grid Saudi Arabia (NGSA), or other GCC utility companies and EPC contractors.
• Certifications: Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is mandatory. A SEC-approved engineer status is highly advantageous. Additional value will be placed on candidates holding Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. NEBOSH or IOSH certifications in health, safety, and environmental management will further strengthen your candidacy.
