In this pivotal Strategy Manager role, you will spearhead the design, analysis, and execution of our corporate strategy function, ensuring alignment with executive direction while fostering measurable growth across our three core business sectors. As a founding member of our Strategy & Transformation team, you will redefine how strategy is developed, deployed, and monitored—transforming vision into actionable outcomes that drive long-term success.

Reporting directly to the Chief, Strategy & Transformation, this position demands a strategic thinker who thrives at the intersection of data-driven insights and operational excellence. You will not only execute strategic initiatives but also architect the frameworks that shape our future trajectory, ensuring every decision is grounded in rigorous analysis and aligned with our overarching goals.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will be instrumental in:

• Shaping Strategic Foundations: Lead the development of comprehensive strategic analyses—spanning market dynamics, competitive positioning, financial projections, and internal capabilities—to inform our group-wide strategy.
• Building Strategic Frameworks: Design, implement, and maintain a robust Balanced Scorecard and OKR (Objectives and Key Results) cascade, ensuring alignment from the corporate level down to sector and departmental initiatives.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee the strategic initiative portfolio, including prioritization, rigorous business case evaluations, and performance tracking against ROI and KPIs to maximize impact.
• Performance Insights: Develop and deliver monthly and quarterly strategic performance reports, facilitating data-driven decision-making and periodic Strategic Reviews to assess progress and adapt strategies.
• Ensuring Analytical Rigor: Uphold the highest standards of quality and consistency in all strategic outputs, ensuring they are both insightful and actionable.
• Strategic Liaison: Serve as the primary bridge between the Office of Strategy & Transformation and sector leadership, fostering seamless collaboration and ensuring strategic initiatives are executed with precision.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field—with a Master’s or MBA being highly advantageous.
• 6–8 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or strategic planning, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team-lead capacity to drive cross-functional alignment.
• Proven expertise in building or operating Balanced Scorecard and OKR frameworks, translating strategic goals into measurable outcomes.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, strategic analysis tools (Excel, Power BI), and data visualization to derive actionable insights.
• Experience in change management and transformation initiatives, with the ability to navigate organizational shifts effectively.
• A strong command of both Arabic and English (written and verbal) to facilitate seamless communication across diverse stakeholders.

While not mandatory, preferred qualifications include experience in retail, FMCG, or multi-sector holding companies, as well as professional certifications in strategy or performance management (e.g., CSCA, Balanced Scorecard Professional, OKRs, KPIs, or Process Improvement).
