Key Responsibilities

Your work will span across multiple dimensions, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and business impact:

• Data Architecture & Engineering: Design, implement, and optimize a **scalable medallion architecture** (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) within **Microsoft Fabric**, leveraging **Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Dataflows Gen2** to create efficient, well-documented data products. Enforce **engineering best practices**, including **version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based recovery workflows**, to ensure robustness and maintainability.
• Data Integration & Ingestion: Develop a **reusable, API-led integration layer** to seamlessly connect disparate source systems, including **Premier, Salesforce, Oracle Primavera Cloud, and Azure SQL**. Build high-performance ingestion frameworks for **structured and semi-structured data** via REST APIs, ensuring low-latency and high-availability data flows.
• AI & Analytics Data Preparation: Curate, validate, and optimize datasets tailored for **machine learning, AI model training, feature engineering, pricing intelligence, and forecasting**. Ensure data readiness for advanced analytics, enabling our teams to derive actionable insights and competitive advantages.
• Data Quality & Governance: Implement **automated quality gates, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms** across data layers to maintain high standards. Establish **data lineage tracking**, enforce **data residency policies**, and ensure **in-tenant security and role-based access control** to protect sensitive information.
• Collaboration & Enablement: Partner closely with **data analysts, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams** to translate requirements into **scalable, high-performance data solutions**. Develop **operational runbooks, comprehensive documentation, and data quality scorecards** to empower teams and ensure self-service analytics capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for a **seasoned professional** with a proven track record in data engineering, coupled with deep expertise in **Microsoft Fabric and AI data preparation**. Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field** (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience: 10+ years in data engineering, with hands-on experience in **Microsoft Fabric, AI data pipelines, and cloud-based data solutions**. Familiarity with **Azure services (Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault, Blob Storage)** and **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** methodologies is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in **SQL, Python, Spark, Power Query, REST APIs, and Git**. Experience with **data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and large-scale data transformation** is a must.
• Domain Experience: Strong preference for candidates with experience in **construction, contracting, fit-out, or engineering design**. Knowledge of **Salesforce, Premier, or Oracle Primavera Cloud** will be highly advantageous.
• Preferred Certifications: DP-700: Microsoft Certified Fabric Data Engineer Associate, DP-600: Microsoft Certified Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, or AZ-104: Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate.
