Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver High-Standard Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical care aligned with Advanced Life Support (ALS) protocols, addressing physical, emotional, and cultural needs with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Operate and Maintain EMS Assets: Ensure the reliability, functionality, and safety of ambulance vehicles (Type I, II, and III) and medical equipment through regular inspections, maintenance, and adherence to operational standards.
• Stay Current with Medical Innovations: Actively engage in professional development, including continuing education, research, and participation in specialized training programs to uphold the highest standards of EMS practice.
• Administrative and Logistical Support: Manage administrative tasks efficiently, including vehicle readiness checks, compliance documentation, and adherence to Medical Control directives from Golden Etihad Co..
• Collaborate and Lead: Participate in team meetings to discuss operational updates, care protocols, and interdepartmental coordination, fostering a collaborative and proactive work environment.
• Optimize Resource Utilization: Ensure the judicious use of medical supplies and equipment to minimize waste while maximizing patient care efficiency.
• Problem-Solving and Anticipation: Identify potential challenges in real-time and implement appropriate solutions to mitigate risks and enhance response effectiveness.
• Promote a Culture of Excellence: Contribute to ongoing feedback mechanisms and process improvements to elevate both patient care quality and workplace dynamics.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or a higher degree in a related healthcare field. A strong foundation in medical sciences, patient care, and emergency response protocols is essential.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic, demonstrating proficiency in critical care, trauma management, and prehospital interventions.
• Certifications: Mandatory certifications include:
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
• Emergency Vehicle Operator Safety (EVOS)
• Valid Light Transportation Driving License
• Certification from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
• Language Proficiency: Exceptional command of both oral and written English and Arabic, enabling effective communication with patients, colleagues, and medical teams in diverse settings.
• English Language Test: Minimum score of 65% on the STEP English Test or 5.0 on the IELTS exam.
• Physical and Operational Readiness: Demonstrated physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding tasks in high-stress environments, including lifting, prolonged standing, and rapid response scenarios.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office programs to manage administrative tasks, documentation, and reporting efficiently.
