Key Responsibilities:

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Financial Transaction Management: Record and process daily financial transactions with meticulous accuracy in our accounting system, ensuring all entries are compliant and up-to-date.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable Leadership: Oversee the entire AP/AR lifecycle, from issuing invoices and credit notes to managing supplier and customer payments. Ensure timely collections and payments while maintaining strong vendor and client relationships.
• Reconciliation and Reporting: Prepare and reconcile customer and supplier statements, perform bank reconciliations, and resolve any discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy. Generate aging reports for receivables and payables to monitor outstanding balances effectively.
• Month-End and Financial Reporting: Actively support month-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements and reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial closings.
• Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Assist in audit processes by providing the necessary documentation and insights to support transparency and accountability.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain and update Excel trackers, financial dashboards, and reports to enhance visibility and decision-making. Work closely with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and streamline financial operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting, with a strong preference for candidates with exposure to financial reconciliations and reporting.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software and systems, along with advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and automation.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities are essential. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.
