Your Impact

As a Proposal Engineer based in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, you will be at the forefront of our engineering team, responsible for crafting proposals that balance technical excellence with commercial viability. Your role is critical in ensuring Kent’s proposals stand out in a competitive market by:

• Analyzing Requests for Proposals (RFPs): Thoroughly evaluate project scopes, feasibility, and client requirements to determine the strategic direction of bids. Collaborate with senior leadership, including the Engineering VP and Director, to align proposals with Kent’s goals and industry standards.
• Clarifying Client Expectations: Engage directly with potential clients to refine project specifications, mitigate risks, and gather critical insights that strengthen the proposal’s foundation.
• Developing Cost Estimates: Create detailed, data-driven cost estimates—including labor hours, subcontractor requirements, and project-related expenses—using industry-leading tools and Kent’s internal norms. Ensure accuracy and competitiveness to maximize bid success.
• Crafting Technical Proposals: Produce comprehensive, client-focused proposals that articulate project methodologies, timelines, and deliverables. Ensure technical feasibility, adherence to industry standards, and alignment with Kent’s governance frameworks.
• Collaborating Across Teams: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and procurement, to integrate technical and financial aspects into cohesive, winning proposals.
• Upholding Kent’s Standards: Embed yourself within our Engineering Operations team while aligning with Kent’s proposal governance to maintain consistency, quality, and compliance.
