We are currently seeking a highly skilled Prime Contract Administrator to join our team on the groundbreaking King Salman International Airport (KSIA) project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a critical member of the project delivery team, you will play a pivotal role in administering the prime contract for the development of three world-class terminals—Terminal 6, the Iconic Terminal, and the Private Aviation Terminal—each designed to set new standards in aviation infrastructure. With a projected capacity of up to 185 million passengers and 3.5 million tons of cargo by 2050, KSIA is poised to become a global aviation hub, and your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring its success.

Your Impact

In this dynamic and challenging role, you will collaborate closely with senior project leadership to establish and maintain robust contract administration processes that safeguard Bechtel’s interests while driving project efficiency and performance. Your responsibilities will include:

• Contract Baseline Establishment: Work with cross-functional teams to define and document the contract baseline, including terms and conditions, technical specifications, drawings, cost estimates, project proposals, schedules, and other critical contractual documents. Ensure alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Process and Tool Development: Design and implement comprehensive prime contract management processes, tools, and training programs in accordance with Bechtel’s Prime Contracts Management Manual and industry best practices. Develop and maintain matrices such as the Prime Contract Action/Notice List, Liability Containment Plan, and Flowdown Matrix to clearly outline responsibilities and obligations for both Bechtel and the client.
• Risk and Opportunity Management: Conduct in-depth analyses of the prime contract’s general terms and conditions to identify potential risks, ambiguities, or conflicts. Proactively raise awareness of these risks and recommend strategic actions to mitigate liabilities while identifying revenue growth opportunities and performance enhancements.
• Customized Contract Solutions: Develop tailored materials and systems to manage specialized contract regimes, including incentive schemes, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), bonuses, and penalties. Ensure these mechanisms align with project goals and client requirements.
• Compliance and Documentation: Establish and maintain systems and records required by the client and project partners, including those under Joint Association arrangements. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all contract-related activities, correspondence, and variations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal teams, client representatives, and external partners to foster transparency, accountability, and alignment on contract-related decisions. Act as a trusted advisor to project leadership on contract-related matters.
