Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of warehouse and logistics personnel, ensuring alignment with Afaq’s operational standards and company values.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Inventory Management: Implement and monitor inventory control processes to minimize stockouts, reduce excess inventory, and optimize warehouse space utilization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to align delivery schedules, resolve operational challenges, and enhance end-to-end supply chain efficiency.
• Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, order accuracy, and warehouse productivity to drive continuous improvement.
• Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and propose data-driven solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs.
• Regional Coordination: Act as a liaison between the Saudi National hub and other regional branches, ensuring seamless communication and adherence to Afaq’s corporate policies.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and Afaq’s quality standards to maintain a secure and efficient working environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, with a minimum of 5+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong expertise in warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and implement actionable solutions.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and regions.
• Familiarity with Saudi market logistics challenges and regulatory requirements is a significant advantage.
• Certifications in logistics, lean management, or Six Sigma are highly desirable.
