Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Risk Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding project success by:

• Driving Comprehensive Risk Assessment: Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative risk analyses to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential threats across the entire project lifecycle—from planning to execution and handover.
• Developing Proactive Mitigation Strategies: Design and implement robust risk registers, mitigation plans, and contingency measures tailored to the unique challenges of large-scale infrastructure development.
• Fostering Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to embed risk management best practices into every phase of project delivery.
• Facilitating Data-Driven Decision-Making: Utilize advanced risk management tools and methodologies to assess exposure, track trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership and project teams.
• Ensuring Regulatory and Contractual Compliance: Align risk management frameworks with project specifications, contractual obligations, and corporate governance standards to minimize legal and operational risks.
• Leading Risk Workshops and Stakeholder Engagement: Moderate collaborative sessions to refine risk strategies, communicate findings, and drive accountability for mitigation actions.

Qualifications and Expertise

We are seeking a seasoned professional with:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, complemented by a globally recognized certification such as PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional) or an equivalent credential.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in project risk management, with a proven track record in large-scale infrastructure, transportation, or construction projects. Experience in international markets is a significant advantage.
• Expertise in Risk Analysis Methodologies: Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative risk assessment techniques, including scenario modeling, probabilistic analysis, and risk matrix development.
• Strategic Problem-Solving: A history of developing innovative mitigation plans that have successfully reduced project delays, cost overruns, or operational disruptions.
• Analytical Rigor and Stakeholder Influence: Strong analytical skills paired with the ability to translate complex risk data into actionable strategies and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with diverse teams, document findings, and present to senior leadership.
