As an Assistant Manager in Audit & Assurance – Accounting & Reporting Advisory (ARA), you will play a pivotal role in shaping high-impact engagements for diverse clients across industries. Key Responsibilities

In this strategic role, you will:

• Lead and execute complex engagements for clients requiring IFRS and local GAAP financial statement preparation, ensuring adherence to rigorous standards and delivering actionable insights.
• Develop and refine technical expertise by conducting in-depth research on intricate accounting issues, drafting high-caliber reports, and providing advisory on revenue recognition, leasing, and other critical accounting policies.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including managers, partners, and clients, to refine project strategies, balance risks, and align solutions with client objectives and expectations.
• Drive client proposals and project planning, including drafting scopes of work, budgets, and impact assessments for new accounting standards, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
• Educate and empower clients through tailored training sessions on the implications of evolving accounting standards, fostering long-term trust and strategic partnerships.
• Manage international and local projects with agility, overseeing engagements such as IFRS impact assessments, accounting policy reviews, and complex advisory on acquisitions or abnormal transactions.
• Contribute to thought leadership by preparing technical accounting memos and insights that elevate the firm’s expertise and client advisory capabilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with a strong academic record.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting or a comparable advisory role, demonstrating expertise in IFRS, local GAAP, and technical accounting advisory.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple assignments with precision.
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills, with fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• A commitment to structuring accounting solutions and delivering high-impact advisory services that drive client success.
