As a **Health Informatics Specialist**, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing health information systems, ensuring seamless integration, regulatory compliance, and enhanced clinical workflows within Saudi healthcare organizations. In this strategic role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including IT, clinical specialists, and system stakeholders—to implement, configure, and enhance health information systems (HIS), such as the PearlCare System, while ensuring full alignment with Saudi Arabian healthcare regulations. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, data integrity, and patient-centered care across healthcare institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of responsibilities, ensuring the seamless functionality and continuous improvement of health informatics systems:

• System Implementation & Integration: Lead the configuration, customization, and integration of HIS with existing organizational systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operational continuity.
• Regulatory Compliance & Audits: Monitor adherence to Saudi healthcare standards, including those set by the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) and the Ministry of Health (MOH), while conducting regular audits and reporting compliance gaps to leadership.
• Data Governance & Security: Uphold the highest standards of data quality, confidentiality, and security in accordance with Saudi regulations and organizational policies, including access controls, retention protocols, and privacy safeguards.
• User Training & Support: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for healthcare staff, ensuring effective adoption of HIS functionalities. Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and escalate complex problems to IT or vendors as needed.
• Documentation & Process Improvement: Create and maintain user guides, training materials, system procedures, and project documentation. Identify opportunities for system enhancements that improve workflow efficiency, usability, and data accuracy.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with vendors, internal departments, and clinical teams to align system requirements, resolve issues, and execute projects within defined timelines. Facilitate interoperability between HIS and other healthcare technologies to support seamless data exchange.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track system performance, gather user feedback, and report recurring issues or risks. Develop analytical reports, dashboards, and data outputs to support clinical decision-making and operational insights.
• Clinical Workflow Optimization: Analyze existing healthcare workflows to identify gaps and recommend system or process improvements that enhance patient safety, care quality, and operational efficiency.
• Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay abreast of evolving healthcare regulations, informatics best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the system remains cutting-edge and aligned with industry standards.
