We are seeking a Senior Wet Utilities Engineer to join our Riyadh office and drive innovation in water and wastewater systems. Your Impact

As a Senior Wet Utilities Engineer at ARX, you will play a pivotal role in designing, planning, and overseeing the execution of complex wet utility networks—including potable water, wastewater/sewerage, irrigation, and fire suppression systems. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of these critical systems into large-scale infrastructure projects, aligning with global standards while adhering to local regulations. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization, planning, and detailed design of wet utility systems for airports, industrial complexes, residential developments, and municipal projects.
• Technical Excellence: Perform advanced hydraulic modeling, network analysis, and pipe sizing using industry-leading software such as Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, and SewerGEMS to optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with KSA’s stringent codes, standards, and utility authority requirements, including those from Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), Saudi Aramco, and the Ministry of Water and Electricity.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, structural engineers, MEP specialists, and BIM/CAD teams to align wet utilities with broader infrastructure objectives, including corridor planning, crossings, and system interfaces.
• Technical Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a technical liaison with government authorities, clients, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met with precision and clarity.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, as-built documentation, and technical deliverables to support project execution and future maintenance.

Qualifications

We are looking for a seasoned professional with:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, complemented by a robust career in infrastructure development.
• 8+ years of experience in designing and managing wet utility systems, with a minimum of 3 years of direct experience in the KSA—where local regulations and project dynamics are critical.
• Proven expertise in hydraulic modeling, network analysis, and compliance with KSA’s utility standards, including SWCC, Aramco, and municipal codes.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and AutoCAD, with an ability to interpret and apply data for optimal system design.
• Strong English proficiency (written and spoken) and an added advantage with Arabic fluency for seamless communication with local stakeholders.
• A track record of mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across disciplines to deliver cohesive project solutions.
