Your leadership will ensure that every patient receives personalized, high-quality treatment while adhering to the rigorous standards set by the Joint Commission International (JCIA), College of American Pathologists Hospital Accreditation (CBAHI), and the Ministry of Health regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a broad spectrum of clinical, educational, and administrative duties, including:

• Clinical Leadership and Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, ensuring adherence to evidence-based medicine, professional ethics, and institutional standards. Conduct thorough history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests, maintaining meticulous and accurate documentation in patient records.
• Admissions and Ward Management: Admit patients from emergency rooms, outpatient departments, or as directed by the Head of Department, in collaboration with consultants. Lead daily ward rounds, either independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team, to assess patient conditions and develop tailored management plans.
• Collaborative Decision-Making: Work closely with consultants and senior staff to diagnose and manage complex cases, ensuring seamless coordination between specialists and generalists. Prepare discharge summaries, death reports, and specialized patient reports as required.
• Emergency Response and On-Call Duty: Actively participate in the on-call rotation, providing timely medical intervention and expert advice during emergencies. Deliver critical care in outpatient and emergency settings, ensuring continuity of service.
• Educational and Training Initiatives: Engage in teaching and mentoring activities to support the professional development of junior medical staff. Facilitate learning through ward rounds, case discussions, and hands-on training in specialized units such as ICU, CCU, and Hemodialysis.
• Patient and Family Education: Play a pivotal role in educating patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care. Tailor educational approaches to individual learning needs, cultural preferences, and developmental stages, ensuring comprehensive understanding and engagement in their care.
• Administrative and Compliance Oversight: Assist in administrative tasks as delegated by the Head of Department, including policy implementation, quality assurance, and compliance with hospital regulations. Liaise with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless interdepartmental collaboration.
• Specialized Unit Rotation: Rotate through specialized inpatient units under the supervision of senior staff, expanding your clinical expertise and contributing to multidisciplinary care teams.
