In this strategic position, you will serve as the technical leader bridging manufacturing operations, quality control, engineering, IT, and business systems. Your expertise will ensure seamless real-time data collection, robust traceability, and operational efficiency across our state-of-the-art production facilities. Key Responsibilities

As the driving force behind Lucid’s MES strategy, your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership in MES Deployment and Optimization: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of MES applications, including deployment, configuration, and continuous enhancement to align with evolving manufacturing needs and technological advancements.
• System Integration and Interoperability: Ensure seamless integration of MES with PLCs, automation systems, ERP (SAP), Quality Management Systems (QMS), industrial databases, and reporting platforms to create a unified data ecosystem.
• Production Execution and Process Control: Maintain and refine MES workflows, routing, genealogy, and traceability solutions to support production line launches, process changes, and new product introductions with minimal downtime.
• Data Integrity and Compliance: Guarantee accurate collection, validation, and reporting of production and process data while adhering to industry standards, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. Support serialization, VIN tracking, torque traceability, and quality record-keeping to meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expert technical support for shop-floor MES issues, ensuring system reliability, availability, and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Security and Governance: Manage user access, security roles, and system governance to protect sensitive manufacturing data while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Documentation and Validation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for change management, validation records, and audit readiness. Participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to proactively identify and mitigate risks in manufacturing processes.
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean principles to optimize MES-driven workflows, reduce waste, and enhance overall operational agility in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications and Skills

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven professional with:

• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial or Mechanical Engineering) is required.
• Experience: 5+ years in a high-volume Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manufacturing environment, with 4+ years specifically in a Senior MES Engineer role. Proven experience in automotive manufacturing processes, production operations, and quality systems is essential.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including experience with Rockwell FactoryTalk ProductionCentre (FTPC). Strong proficiency in SAP/ERP integration, particularly the SAP Quality Module, is required. Familiarity with MES applications is a significant advantage.
• Automotive Compliance: Hands-on experience with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, as well as expertise in traceability, genealogy systems, and serialization processes.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, engineering, and IT. Ability to influence stakeholders, gain consensus, and interface confidently with senior management in a dynamic environment.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong data analysis and visualization skills to interpret manufacturing data, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects.
