Key Responsibilities

• Policy, Process, and Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure all infrastructure operations adhere to established standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance frameworks.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations, ensuring seamless delivery of online, batch, and e-services while maintaining compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and banking standards.
• Budget and Financial Oversight: Collaborate in the formulation of the departmental budget, monitor performance against financial targets, and proactively address variances to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.
• Cloud and Automation Leadership: Lead the migration, deployment, and management of cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and minimal operational downtime. Drive automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and accelerate service delivery.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Establish and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) for operating systems, servers, databases, and applications. Implement continuous monitoring to enhance reliability, availability, and proactive issue resolution, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
• End-User Support and Incident Management: Direct the provision of technical support to end-users, ensuring smooth system operations. Identify inefficiencies or malfunctions in infrastructure performance and lead the implementation of corrective measures to restore optimal functionality.
• Data Security and Disaster Recovery: Ensure the integrity, security, and availability of databases and critical infrastructure components. Develop and maintain robust contingency and data recovery plans to safeguard against potential disruptions.
• Hardware and Connectivity Management: Oversee the accurate configuration and connectivity of hardware and devices to support the seamless operation of systems and applications.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
