Your Impact

As the Product Specialist – Oncology, your responsibilities will be both challenging and rewarding, spanning strategic account management, stakeholder engagement, and performance-driven execution. Your primary focus will be on:

• Strategic Account Development: Craft and execute localized strategies to enhance the positioning of AstraZeneca’s oncology products within the Saudi market. Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to align business plans with regional targets, ensuring our portfolio is optimally utilized to meet patient needs and regulatory standards.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Build and nurture long-term, trust-based relationships with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs), decision-making units (DMUs), and key opinion leaders (KOLs). Engage healthcare professionals (HCPs) in evidence-based discussions, emphasizing the efficacy, safety, and approved indications of our oncology therapies to support informed prescribing practices.
• Knowledge Dissemination: Elevate awareness of AstraZeneca’s oncology value proposition across the healthcare ecosystem. Utilize a variety of communication channels—including scientific discussions, workshops, and speaker programs—to educate physicians, nurses, and other stakeholders on the latest advancements and best practices in oncology care.
• Performance Excellence: Drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding targets while adhering to budgetary constraints. Leverage fair-balance messaging and tailored promotional tools to highlight the benefits of our oncology brands, ensuring compliance with national and local guidelines.
• Corporate Responsibility: Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct, adhering to AstraZeneca’s Code of Ethics and all regulatory policies. Complete mandatory training, including product examinations, to ensure continuous professional development and compliance.

This role demands a balanced approach, with approximately 90% of your time dedicated to fieldwork—engaging directly with stakeholders, attending medical meetings, and participating in training initiatives—while the remaining 10% is office-based for strategic planning and reporting.
