Your Impact

As a Senior Façade Engineer, your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of façade design and delivery, ensuring that every solution is not only visually striking but also structurally sound, sustainable, and cost-effective. You will:

• Lead façade engineering for medium-sized projects, translating client and architectural visions into technically robust, buildable, and durable designs while collaborating with senior leaders for complex challenges.
• Collaborate across disciplines with architects, structural engineers, fire engineers, contractors, and suppliers to refine façade concepts, ensuring seamless coordination and compliance with performance standards.
• Develop and refine façade designs from initial client briefs, architectural concepts, or remediation proposals, delivering detailed specifications, technical reports, and performance calculations.
• Evaluate and approve technical submissions, including shop drawings, material samples, mock-ups, and testing documentation, to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
• Monitor on-site execution through regular site visits, assessing installation quality, workmanship, and compliance with approved designs while supporting inspections and technical investigations for existing façade systems.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks proactively, offering innovative solutions that balance performance, aesthetics, and constructability.
• Engage in business development by contributing to bids, design competitions, and proposals, helping the firm win high-profile projects.
• Mentor and uplift the team by sharing expertise, guiding junior engineers, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Maintain strong client relationships by providing clear, actionable advice and ensuring stakeholder alignment throughout project delivery.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a technically accomplished and visionary engineer with a proven track record in façade design, construction, and performance. Ideal candidates will:

• Possess advanced expertise in façade design, with hands-on experience in at least four of the following materials: aluminium, steel, concrete, stone, glass, and timber.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of façade systems, including structural integrity, thermal performance, wind resistance, and sustainability principles.
• Have experience in project delivery, from technical development and procurement to construction oversight and post-occupancy support.
• Excel in a multidisciplinary environment, bridging gaps between design intent, technical constraints, and practical execution.
