Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, your expertise will be critical in driving the following priorities:

• Digital Infrastructure and Document Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive **Document Management System (DMS) strategy**, ensuring alignment with MEC’s digital roadmap to support business mobilization, operational readiness, and long-term organizational goals. Leverage your proficiency in SharePoint or proprietary systems to enhance document workflows, collaboration, and data accessibility for corporate, project, and field-based users across KSA.
• IT-as-a-Service Leadership: Champion an **IT-as-a-Service culture** by fostering a customer-centric, responsive, and value-driven approach to technology service delivery. Act as a bridge between IT and end-users, ensuring seamless support and continuous improvement of IT services to minimize disruptions and maximize operational efficiency.
• Strategic Support for ITC Leadership: Provide **direct support to the ITC Manager**, assisting with technical oversight, project coordination, and service delivery. Act as a reliable point of contact for IT-related inquiries, projects, and reports, while also stepping in as a temporary back-to-back support during the Manager’s absence to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Cybersecurity and Compliance: Contribute to establishing and maintaining **robust cybersecurity, data governance, and business continuity frameworks** to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with KSA regulatory requirements, including the **Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL)** and localization standards. Collaborate with internal teams to uphold the highest security and governance benchmarks.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain **strong partnerships** with KSA leadership, business functions, and external IT vendors to understand evolving technology needs, prioritize solutions, and drive value. Act as a liaison to ensure vendor performance, service quality, and commercial alignment with MEC’s strategic objectives.
• Proactive Technology Gap Analysis: Anticipate future technology requirements and **identify infrastructure gaps** to proactively implement solutions that mitigate risks and support business growth. Stay ahead of industry trends to recommend innovative technologies that enhance productivity and operational resilience.
• Field and Operational Support: Provide **limited but impactful travel support** to field and operational locations across KSA to assess end-user needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure technology solutions align with real-world business demands.
