Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of clinical and administrative duties, designed to optimize patient care and operational efficiency:

• Comprehensive Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough clinical, psychosocial, and functional evaluations for all patients, ensuring a holistic understanding of their health needs. Document assessments meticulously in electronic medical records, adhering to evidence-based practices and Fakeeh Healthcare’s documentation standards.
• Evidence-Based Clinical Management: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for patients, ensuring timely and effective interventions. Utilize the latest medical research and clinical guidelines to guide decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
• Leadership in Inpatient Care: Serve as the **Most Responsible Physician (MRP)** for inpatients under your care, overseeing their admission to discharge process. Create and execute discharge plans on the day of admission, collaborating with discharge-planning services to ensure seamless transitions.
• Daily Patient Monitoring and Documentation: Conduct daily assessments for inpatients, documenting findings and care plans in progress notes using the **SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan)** format. Ensure all medical interventions are recorded promptly and accurately.
• Timely Consultation and Medical Reporting: Respond promptly to medical consultations and complete medical reports in accordance with Fakeeh Healthcare’s formatting standards. Authenticate discharge summaries and ensure patients receive clear discharge instructions and medication education.
• Facility and Departmental Engagement: Participate actively in departmental and general staff meetings, contributing innovative ideas to enhance efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction. Adhere to the facility’s call schedule and respond to urgent patient needs as required.
• Patient and Family Education: Empower patients and their families with knowledge about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures, fostering informed decision-making and adherence to care plans.
• Teaching and Professional Development: Engage in teaching rounds and educational activities as requested by the Chairperson of the Medical Department, mentoring colleagues and contributing to the professional growth of our healthcare team.
