RT Technician – Advanced Radiographic Expertise

As an RT Technician, your primary focus will be on the setup, calibration, and operation of advanced radiographic equipment while adhering to the highest industry standards. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all radiographic processes are conducted with precision, minimizing risks and maximizing operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

• Equipment Mastery: Expertly configure and calibrate radiographic testing equipment to meet project specifications, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.
• Radiation Safety Compliance: Conduct area monitoring using state-of-the-art Radiation Survey Meters, and utilize specialized safety monitoring devices such as Thermoluminescent Dosimeters (TLDs) and Pocket Dosimeters to safeguard personnel and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Site Preparation and Risk Mitigation: Implement necessary barricades, warning signs, and lighting systems tailored to site conditions to ensure the safety of all personnel during radiography operations.
• Radiographic Processing and Evaluation: Process, evaluate, and interpret radiographic images with meticulous care, providing clear and actionable findings to support quality assurance initiatives.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, inspectors, and project managers, to address technical challenges and ensure seamless project execution.

To excel in this role, you will bring a robust blend of technical proficiency and hands-on experience. We are looking for a Certified ASNT Level II RT Technician with a minimum of four years of field experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of radiographic testing principles, safety protocols, and industry best practices. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will frequently liaise with stakeholders, document findings, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
