Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Stress and Thermal Analysis Expertise: Conduct comprehensive stress analysis and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate structural integrity, material behavior, and load distribution under both static and dynamic conditions. Additionally, leverage your understanding of heat transfer principles to implement effective thermal management strategies, such as conductive cooling and thermal interface materials, to stabilize sensor performance across varying temperature ranges.
- Precision Manufacturing and GD&T Application: Apply rigorous Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to technical drawings, ensuring critical fits and sensor alignments meet exacting specifications. Perform tolerance stack-up analyses to mitigate assembly challenges and enhance repeatability. Incorporate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles to optimize production processes, particularly for CNC machining and additive manufacturing techniques.
- Prototyping, Validation, and Testing: Actively participate in the prototyping phase, from initial assembly to rigorous testing and iterative refinement. Collaborate with testing teams to validate structural and thermal models, ensuring that physical prototypes meet performance benchmarks and operational requirements. Your insights will be critical in driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications and Requirements
To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of academic rigor and hands-on experience:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related field is required. Your academic foundation should reflect a strong emphasis on mechanical systems, materials science, and engineering principles.
- Professional Certification: Mandatory membership in the Engineer Grade category of the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is required, aligning with local employment regulations.
