Your Key Responsibilities

Your work will span multiple critical areas, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of civil construction projects:

• Construction Supervision and Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous inspections of civil works, including earthworks, roadways, drainage systems, utilities, foundations, and external infrastructure, to verify adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards. Witness inspections and material testing, promptly identifying deficiencies and driving corrective actions to maintain project quality and timelines.
• Technical Review and Coordination: Lead the review of shop drawings, material submissions, and construction methodologies, ensuring alignment with project requirements. Collaborate closely with structural, architectural, MEP, and landscape teams to resolve technical interfaces and evaluate requests for information or modifications. Provide expert guidance on value engineering proposals and construction alternatives to optimize project outcomes.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with project quality plans, specifications, and construction standards by monitoring inspection and test plans, reviewing laboratory results, and obtaining necessary approvals. Actively participate in quality audits and compliance reviews to mitigate risks and uphold project integrity.
• Site Inspection and Progress Monitoring: Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, progress, and compliance with approved requirements. Monitor contractor productivity, resource allocation, and adherence to construction schedules, while verifying completion of works before subsequent activities. Track project milestones and proactively communicate delays or risks to project management.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a bridge between clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities, liaising on civil engineering matters and resolving site-related issues. Participate in progress meetings, technical workshops, and coordination sessions to ensure alignment and transparency among all stakeholders. Collaborate with quality, HSE, laboratory, and supervision teams to streamline inspection activities.
• Reporting and Documentation: Compile detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on construction progress, inspections, and compliance activities. Maintain comprehensive records of site inspections, test results, approvals, and technical reviews. Document non-conformances, corrective actions, and technical recommendations, ensuring all project documentation is accurate, accessible, and audit-ready.
