• Project Leadership and Execution: Lead and manage all mechanical site supervision activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and technical requirements across the entire construction lifecycle.
• Technical Oversight: Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of critical mechanical systems, including HVAC networks, chilled water systems, district cooling interfaces, ventilation and plumbing infrastructure, firefighting systems, LPG and fuel systems, and specialist mechanical equipment.
• Contractor Coordination: Review and approve contractor submissions, including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation, ensuring full compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Conduct rigorous site inspections, audits, and witness critical tests such as factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), pressure testing, and TAB activities for HVAC systems to verify workmanship and adherence to international standards.
• Risk Management and Problem-Solving: Identify potential construction challenges, technical risks, and interface issues, developing proactive mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project progression.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, ICT, fire and life safety teams, and other specialists to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within broader project deliverables.
• Performance Monitoring: Track contractor performance, productivity, and resource allocation, while managing progress reporting, variation assessments, and technical claims evaluations in collaboration with project controls and commercial teams.
• Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance: Champion HSE best practices across all mechanical activities, ensuring a safe and sustainable working environment for all project stakeholders.
• Knowledge Transfer and Development: Mentor junior engineers and inspectors, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth while supporting training initiatives for operations and maintenance teams.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive technical reports, progress summaries, inspection records, and management presentations to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.
