As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of our high-rise construction projects. Key Responsibilities

In this strategic role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Precision Cost Management: Conduct meticulous quantity take-offs and measurements from architectural drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and site inspections for high-rise towers, encompassing substructure, superstructure, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), and finish works. Ensure accuracy in valuation and cost reporting to maintain project financial health.
• Contractor and Subcontractor Coordination: Prepare and certify interim payment applications based on verified work progress, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and timely reimbursements.
• Documentation and Compliance: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and validating BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documentation. Manage variation orders with rigorous documentation to substantiate changes and mitigate risks.
• Financial Oversight: Monitor site progress against measured quantities, providing actionable insights for project progress reporting. Maintain comprehensive cost records, including materials, labor, and subcontractor accounts, to support financial transparency and decision-making.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Liaise seamlessly with site engineers, procurement teams, and planning departments to align cost information with project timelines and objectives. Support the QS Manager in monthly cost reporting, cash flow forecasting, and budget tracking to ensure fiscal discipline.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential cost overruns or discrepancies early, flagging them to the QS Manager to preempt financial deviations and safeguard project profitability.

Qualifications and Competencies

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• Academic Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, with a proven track record of excellence.
• Industry Experience: 5–8 years of hands-on experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a mandatory focus on high-rise building projects. Demonstrated success in cost management, contract administration, and stakeholder coordination.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Quantity Surveying software and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Multilingual Communication: Fluency in both Arabic and English, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams and cultures.
